Credit/debit card payments – We can handle card payments from all countries both online and by telephone call, however we do not accept credit and debit cards for customers ordering from the Canada, Australia and New Zealand. There is no limit to how much you can spend however we reserve the right to place orders on hold and ask for further identification when our fraud screening tools recommends us to do so. Your full cooperation is appreciated in these circumstances.

For some countries there is also a limit For transactions that are taken by card, and any orders exceeding this limit will need to be topped up by an alternative payment – these include Bitcoin, Western Union, bank transfer and Moneygram (this method will be available in the future). The maximum amount you can spend using your card is €200.

Bank Transfer (international) – International customers can pay by transferring the full payment to our own bank account – you can find our IBAN number on the checkout page. If you are worried about the fees for this, we can recommend currenciesdirect.com as they come recommended by many of our global clients. Apart from the savings on fees, they also operate with an appealing exchange rate, and their completion time is an industry-leading 24-48 hours. Using anything else as the reference will only cause in delays.
Bitcoin – Bitcoin is probably the best way to pay for an order quickly, securely, and fee free. Bitcoin transactions are fast becoming the preferred method of payment on the internet and if remaining anonymous is important to you i.e. you do not wish to leave a paper trail with your banks then bitcoin payment is absolutely the best way to go. If you are new to bitcoin then please read our information page located here which details exactly what you need to from start to finish to get yourself set up using bitcoin. We promise you once you start using it to make payments online you will not regret it and will never look back. Western Union – This is a great way to pay for your research chemicals. In any global location, it should be relatively easy to locate a Western Union agent or office, and the funds are ready for us within just a few minutes from the majority of worldwide areas – this is always subject to any necessary checks being made. Western Union can also handle transactions through their website, but please bear in mind that we visit our home agency twice per week (usually Tuesdays and Thursdays) to receive any outstanding payments. Moneygram – We are still in dialogue with Moneygram about offering payments through their service, and we hope to update our clients about this in the near future.
Your bank’s security protocols may have flagged our website as being ‘potentially fraudulent.’ If this is the case, all that you will need to do is call and inform them that you are happy for payments to be processed by us from that point forward.
Usually this means that your bank has not authorized the transaction. So all you need to do is ring your bank and tell them to authorize it. After you have done this once you should not need to do this again.
Unfortunately AlterCards (our card payment gateway) will not allow card payments to be made from certain countries including the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. If you would like to make a purchase from these countries, please use Western Union or Bank Transfer as an alternative – these should be usable without any problems. Bitcoin is also a payment method that we can offer to customers from anywhere in the world and comes with a 10% discount.
International bank wire payments usually take between 2-5 working days, and often when payments are made within the European Union they can arrive faster within one working day. We highly recommend using currenciesdirect.com for making bank transfers – they are a brilliant service for transferring money internationally as they bypass the usual fees that are charged by banking institutions. You can also send same day international bank transfers which your bank will usually charge you a fee for.
Example: Sending €100 through your bank will cost you in the region of €15 – €35 in additional fees, depending upon who you bank with, the country that you are sending the funds from and the currency exchange rate. Sending money using CurrenciesDirect will probably only cost you about €5 – €8, and sometimes this fee is even lower! Western Union transfers usually take 2-3 days – however this can vary depending upon your location. We only accept Western Union transfes direct to our bank account. We DO NOT pick up from western union locations. You can send money direct to our bank account via Western Union’s online services.
No, your shipping address will be correct, it is just that the merchant gateway do not always show the full address. Be assured that the address you provided us with is the address your order will be shipped to so please ignore what it says in the email from the merchnant gateway. If you want to double check your shipping address after you have placed an order you can do so by clicking on the order number from within your Order history page when logged in to your account.

You have not been given a tracking number usually because you have selected one of the cheaper shipping options which do not come with tracking. Please check which delivery method you selected before contacting us asking why you didn’t get a tracking number as this will usually be the reason why. Tracking numbers are sent out automatically by the courier companies so please be patient and wait to receive that email from them any time between 15:00 and 17:00.
