DPT hydrochloride is not just another tryptamine. It's a well established contender in the tryptamine chemical family. It's reported to be most similar to DMT and that's likely due to it being nearly identical in chemical structure (difference being DPT has two propyl carbon chains bound at the RN terminal). But you can also compare DPT to 4-AcO-DMT and 4-HO-DMT (present and active compound in magic mushrooms). So if you need a well known and documented tryptamine for research purposes then DPT hydrochloride may be the chem for you. In the HCl form, DPT is much easier to transport and can be easily converted to freebase form if required. So if you're lining up a study involving tryptamines, don't skip over DPT. It's an icon in the field.
Measurements for both freebase and HCl forms are remarkably similar. You'll want to fill test tubes within a range of 25-100mg for the common experiment. For more experienced trial runs then you can increase lots to 60-200mg. Quantities can differ depending on administration method so verify amounts prior to starting your study.
